Fellas, is a public bathroom really the right place and time for this?
Speaking of time? It's flying by. Lucien has become a toddler, with his mom's hair and his dad's eyes.

His parents are attentive and nurturing.

Lucien's early childhood is filled with endless play and affection.

Ariel picked Lucien's haircut and clothes.

The toddler is happy, secure and loved. Truly the best start in life a little sim could ask for.

Though she doesn't have to fight any more mummies, staying in good shape is important to Flora.

Word of her sim fu prowess has gotten around. She accepts some cash to teach a class at the gym.
She also takes up snorkeling. Every once in a while she finds a really nice shell for her collection.
Ariel and Lucien have plenty of fun while she's out.

Ariel brings Echo a celebratory gift.
She is pregnant with her second child.
Not to be outdone, Flora and Ariel are soon also expecting a second child.
Ariel's career as a singer never takes off enough to pay the bills, but he does get gigs sometimes. Flora surprises him with a motorcycle so he can get to them in style.
The family also acquires its first car. Flora knows from her own childhood how irritating it is to get multiple babies anywhere without a car.
The hospital makes her uneasy, but it is the safest place to give birth.
And so the Fleet household has a new addition: a daughter this time, named Bradlee.
Echo had twins—Finch and Fern, a boy and girl respectively.
Flint and Echo had to buy a new house to accommodate the size of their growing family.
The back patio is tricked out with its own kitchen, pool bar, and hot tub.
It's a home built for parties that are probably never going to happen, so long as it's owned by the quiet-loving Echo Yang.
Little Elias is old enough for elementary school.
Lupin drops by after his shift at the science center to meet his new niece and nephew as well.
Lupin isn't settling down or having children any time soon. He was dating his friend, Kimi Choi, but they broke up and now Kimi is serious about Andrew Star.
Lupin is trying not to dwell on it.
‟So, we still on for Friday at the arcade?"
‟You bet! I'll be there!"
Watching his mother's siblings carrying on excitedly about trivial games, Elias thinks he can totally see how Echo was adopted, obviously.
Flora doesn't keep up as much with her paternal half-brother Jeff or his family, but since he has recently purchased a new home as well, she swings by to offer her congratulations and a housewarming gift.
Jeff's new place has by far the most memorable exterior in Sunlit Tides. Someone, at some point, a long time ago, decided they really wanted to retire to a Victorian cottage on a tropical lagoon...
‟This isn't my style, but the wife likes it. Happy wife, happy life," Jeff quips.
Flora cringes inwardly, then wonders if a similar logic applies to her own marriage. Ariel hasn't tried to make many of the decor decisions...
Jeff's wife, Myra Pleasant—formerly Keilani—is an antiques dealer. I find her painting in the attic, pregnant with Jeff's third child. This island will be overrun with the heir's cousins sooner than I'd like.

Flora is introduced to Jeff's eldest daughter, Janine.
His younger daughter, Jada, is sleeping.
Flora and Jeff share cooking tips and reminisce about high school. The one topic they always avoid is their father, Daniel, who passed away without ever acknowledging poor Flora.
But something about being in this relic of a house makes Flora think of the dead, anyway. She thinks of how Daniel died of old age, and how Alexandria is still alive somewhere, suspiciously young. How would Alex have chosen to conceal that, if she had stayed here?
Flora's baby girl grows into a toddler.
Bradlee has her dad's nose shape and her mom's eye shape.
Bradlee's rambunctious nature disrupts the tranquil vibe of Lucien's young life.

The house Jeff and Myra moved into was also a download, but I can't remember where from. I'll update this post with a link if I figure it out.
I rolled Random Traits for generation 3, so I don't get to pick Lucien or Bradlee's traits. :( I'll reveal what they are later! One of the kids was born with a trait I don't think is good for what I have in mind for gen 3's heir, but my plans may have to change depending on what traits their next life stages bring.
